We venture to examine two categories of Tinkerbell costume manufacturers who are often forced to outsource their manufacturing operations.
The first category of Tinkerbell costume manufacturers who are often forced to outsource their production operations is that of those who plan to compete on price. For these to be in a position to compete on price, they have to minimize their production costs. That, more often than not, means having to take their operations to countries where production costs are low: in other words, it necessitates outsourcing their production operations.
The second category of Tinkerbell costume manufacturers who are often forced to outsource their manufacturing operations is that of those who need huge volumes of costumes (which can’t be produced locally). Closer analysis often reveals that the production capacity in the localities where they operate is too low: which makes it necessary for them to outsource their production to countries where the volumes of costumes they need can actually be produced.
